Where is this happening? You pay property taxes here, doesn't matter which school your kids go to or if you have any kids at all. So some parents can afford to pay public school taxes AND send their kids to alternate schools. That should tell you how bad public schools suck.

That's exactly what I am saying.....GOPers keep trying to reduce public school funding in order to keep their own taxes down since they send their kids to private schools. You know steve, its another example of the me first attitude that prevails among 21st century GOPers.

I got a headline for you: More money ain't going to fix your unionized education disaster.

And I've got news for you.......more money does buy better education. That's why GOPers send their kids to private schools that have the best, most expensive facilities with the fewest kids per teachers. Just because you've been snookered [or so it seems], that doesn't mean the rest of us have to fall for the BS.

Again, you bought a BMW because unionized American auto makers suck, why should anyone be forced buy a unionized public education that sucks?

Cars and education are two different things. I had a public school education and tested in the upper 1 percentile in the nation. Nothing wrong with public schools if the GOP wouldn't keep trying to starve them and would get over their fear of their kids mixing with non whites.
