CJ, you're "nuancing" again, as usual.

I don't really care if you never advocated "maximizing tax revenues." The fact is that you think we can increase revenues by increasing taxes while at the same time benefiting society (and therefore the economy) in the process.

If that's the case, you might as well go ahead and maximize tax revenues, unless you think there is a point where bigger government is detrimental to the economy and to society in general.
