Of course, I didn't say that. Not that it will stop Steve, he almost never puts things on his list that anyone actually said, just what he wishes they said.

I guess you haven't been paying attention.

The value of the dollar has been dropping, I guess you haven't noticed. That means things valued in dollars, like to foreign aid to Israel, isn't very attractive. One important thing that is valued in dollars are our bonds. If the percentage that the dollar drops exceeds the interest on the bonds, no one is going to buy them. If no one buys they bonds, then the government needs to print money to cover the deficit.

Now, do you want me to explain what that means?
