I use our local public library for books on tape, cd and mp3cd.
Also my local library is part of bibliomation.lib that allows download of audio books for two week periods. They provide an application the will download and xfer books to mp3 players or burn them to cd.
link to bibliomation.lib.overdrive.com one's local library may have bibliomation.lib.overdrive subscription.

Also I can look at libraries across the state, many will honor requests to borrow audio books and send them to my local lib. I can also check out audio books directly from most libraries in the state and return them via the local Monroe library.

I just replaced my car cd/fm/sat radio with a cd/fm/usb/aux radio. Now I can play tape or mp3 directly into the car radio.
The prob with listening in the Car is sometimes one can story past one's exit.
