I can understand Lane3's inclination toward Libertarianism and her beliefs about self interest. I think she and many other super well educated people, free of personality disorders, can make it work.

But, you should be able to see from examples of SI posters that many thugs use this philosophy to justify their thugish inclinations. They will justify stepping all over people in promoting their self interests and use words and phrases from Libertarian philosophy to justify their nefarious inner inclinations.
