ChinaEdu Corp files with U.S. SEC for IPO

WASHINGTON, Nov 26 (Reuters) - ChinaEdu Corp filed with U.S. regulators for an initial public offering of 6.82 million American depositary shares for an estimated price of $10 to $12 each.

The Chinese-based educational services provider said in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission that it is selling 5.46 million ADS, and stockholders are selling an additional 1.36 million ADS.

Bear Stearns & Co Inc, Piper Jaffray, and CIBC World Markets are underwriting the IPO. ChinaEdu plans to list its ADS on the Nasdaq under the symbol "CEDU" (CEDU.O: Quote, Profile, Research). (Reporting by Karey Wutkowski)
