Forget the Obama and Hillary bashing, useless. Doesn't matter if they're not perfect, whatever. The GOP can't beat any of them next year, unless they change their tune drastically and follow it up with action not just more lies and false promises.

There is only one way for the GOP to save itself, start turning against Bush's policies now and stay that way, and force out Cheney into retirement and chastise him. Take away for fat cat's public trough and support convicting white collar Bushie criminals. Most of all, get us the hell out of Iraq and soon, and quit giving Bush-Cheney permission to destroy out military and make terrorism stronger.

Bush's hypocritical peace in Israel move now shows he too knows he will drag the GOP down with him. He has to do something, no matter how phony, to put a new face on himself and the GOP before the election. The fact is there is only one war in the Middle East now and Bush started it and refuses to end it. It is also a pointless war and can only lead to a different kind of mess than we had to begin with, and maybe a much worse one. Bush has done nothing but make trouble ever since he arrived on the scene. He and Cheney really are criminals, but they have always considered themselves above the law.
