That's exactly why we have no faith in the RCMP. They cover up their misdeeds. Canada needs an independent organisation to investigate all police actions involving harm to members of the public. The BC boy in Houston is the most egregious that I know but the YVR episode, being the most recent, demands that the officer who appeared on TV saying all is well, should be reprimanded and sent back to being a constable in Nunavut, as of course the officers involved in the tasering. However I'm in favour of using a Taser when the alternative is guns.
