Petrodollars Return Home globaleconomicanalysis.blogspot.com Citigroup is selling 4.9% of the company for $7.5 bln. The effective price is really $5.7 bln because Citi has pay interest on $7.5 bln for 2 years. This is the price the US has to pay for spending sprees over the last 7 years. All the US has to show for that spending spree is a sinking dollar, neglected infrastructure and a housing boom gone bust. Mish
