Briefing.com update:

Stock Indications as of 08:45 ET: Although PPI came in at more than double expectations, our bond team thinks downward move exaggerated by Greenspan's comments earlier this week and that strong numbers probably due more to special factors and not a sign of a sustained acceleration in producer prices. At this pt, however, markets still in the toilet, though the long-bond has firmed a bit to -25/32. Current level on the futures suggest a decline of 95-100 pts on the Dow. Stks to watch: JBIL, indicated +1 1/4... DELL +5/8... PHTN -7/8... ASND unch.... ACTM -6 (earnings warning).
