Sam, I told you so. I told you weeks ago that MSFT's interest were
in WebTV and content, not content aggregation. I told you that
they could do giveaways anytime they wanted in order to increase
subscribers, but unlike AOL, their business model was predicated
on actually making money, and it was not clear that the content aggregation business was profitable. Well, it looks like Bill Gates agrees with me.
