"We tried it with Newt's contract with America but you libs fought it at every turn." There you go with the "we" business again. Yes, you walk lockstep with the Republicans no matter what. If they spend faster than the democrats during 2000-2006, that's o.k. with you. If they intrude on family privacy and disregard state court decisions (Terry Schaivo) that's o.k. with you because they are republican. Deficits, deficits...hey, that's o.k. because they are republican. Remember all the republicans who pledged not to serve more than three congressional terms under the Contract with America? How many "forgot" that pledge when it suited them. You can't blame "the libs" for everything if the republican emperor has no clothes. The reason Ron Paul is resonating with no many people is because he is not big-government republican....ala Mr. Bush and so many of the supposedly fiscally conservative status quo.
