Your thinking is similar to mine. Had we not gone ahead and begun construction we would still not have a home to move too and even if this house sold we would have ended up not only renting but paying for TWO MOVES. I have found that even though home prices are spiralling down MOVING COSTS are spiraling UP due to the increasing cost of FUEL. We did all our own packing but our moving bill will be nearly $7k for a 2,000 mile move compared to friends of ours that moved over a year ago 2,500 miles for about $5k. Weights are similar. jdn
