You make a good point regarding israel and arab oil wealth but isnt the opposite also true. Don't the pals have to give up terrorism too and don't groups like hamas even if they are in the minority one day hold the power to disrupt the progress made by engaging in terrorism? Israel was ready for peace many times in the past and the terrorists derailed almost every time. Pals have to accept 22% of the land of the pal mandate plus gaza as well as a demilitarized and non-contiguos state. I dont know that they are ready although the arab states might finally be.
