How much energy is required to raise the temperature of the entire earth including all the water in the Oceans by .4 degrees C.?

I don't know, but I am sure the sun puts out that much in a fraction of a second. .4 degrees C is a lot less than the last ice age, its even less than the mini ice age that ended in the mid 19th century before NOAA started recording temperatures. And less than the medieval warming period before that. We will likely get a lot warmer before the next ice age, even if there is no input from mankind.
