California Department of Health Care Services Extends Contracts with HMS biz.yahoo.com Thursday November 29, 11:20 am ET NEW YORK, Nov. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Health Management Systems, Inc. (HMS) announced today that it has won a competitive procurement to continue providing Workers' Compensation recovery services to the State of California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) in both the Northern and Southern regions. In a separate award, DHCS extended its agreement with HMS for Third Party Liability Recovery services for an additional year, through November 2008.
