Hey --- you posed the question and dragged Clinton into the mix. :-)

But is this last reply ("Conspiracy theorists") just your way to slip away and AVOID having to take a position on the question of 'would this have come out if Clinton did it or not?'?

(PS --- what 'conspiracy' did I allege? That someone on the team deliberately divvied all those expenses up - scattering them across dozens of unrelated agencies? Well... that ain't much of a 'conspiracy! It's a cinch that the expense sheets didn't divvy themselves up. :-)

Re: "Do you think Clinton examined the expense reports of his security detail?"

Since you've brought it up... do you imagine that *if* Clinton had run up significant Secret Service protection and transportation tabs while on out-of-town visits with a mistress --- and that these expenses were then sprinkled throughout the federal budget in small chunks, say a little here to the Fisheries Department, a bit to the Helium Reserve, some more over to the Pentagon's R&D budget, that the story wouldn't COME OUT at some point in the future?

Like, perhaps, after the S'moo had left office and a new admin. come in and taken over... (or perhaps, as in this case with Rudy, uncovered by a Freedom of Information Act suit wasn't it?)

Ya GOTTA be kidding.

That stuff is just too juicy to stay hidden. (Particularly if the 'straying husband' later runs for higher office and the 'opp research folks' get working on it....)
