It was a study in politics that Pelosi (and Reid) made herself very scarce in the weeks leading up to the 2006 election. She is even more mated than Hillary, and that is saying something.

"We have to keep the likes of Pelosi from getting more power than they already do."

She is one who wants to have to power to be somebody. It is clear that Hillary is from the same school.
