I thought as much. Their religion is just a fig leaf. Not a true belief and certainly not enforceable by Mullah Fatwah against apostasy if they are living in China. It is quite obvious that the Jew is the one whose religion is more compliant. In China, they have the freedom to wear their "religion" like an article of clothing = just a fashion statement. In some countries, it's not quite as comfortable.

However, if they are not living in China, it might be that the Jew has given ground on the raising of the children and the religion in which they will be brought up as mortality is much higher in Moslem mode for apostates. Heresy in Judaism isn't fatal.
