Sure was a disappointment, especially on the Staph A development. While revenue dropped slightly, R&D increased $1.6M over the last 3 quarter period (2006) and working capital is pretty good at $11M +. If I were betting short term, I'd be even more disappointed, but having seen these swings for a long time, I just roll with them. And this statement, just words, indicates the importance of next year:

'"2008 will be a pivotal year for us as we scale up our manufacturing process to meet the high demand expected by our current and future partners and roll out our new Reader," Mr. Kay said. "To ensure we can meet that demand we expect to move to our new state-of-the-art facility, by the end of the first quarter, 2008."'

We've definitely got some price instability to weather over the next few months. Given the long development process and approvals in the medical device and test field, nothing comes fast or easy.
