Ruark and Hemingway have those macho names that just drip with testosterone. I wonder how their lives would have gone with, say, Pink or Mary.

I remember driving up through Idaho on Highway 93 with my best buddy and his Mom back in 1961. Ketchum was off our path, but we heard on the radio that Hemingway was dead. We were so close we could have gone to the funeral if we'd changed our plans.
