Leave it to the American people to make progress, even when our leaders are moronically deadlocked.

I think it's mostly progressive American businesses at this point. "People" are mostly still going along in their own stupor thinking that nothing is changing... that those SUVs are really cool.

BTW, have you seen the ad from the 3 Governors on climate change? It's the terminator, and the Governor of Montana and, I think, Utah (???). They talk about how the states are leading in making changes, and how the federal government and congress needs to come along. Good, effective ad.

Interesting that its mostly the western states that are leading this. They are the ones that will put the Dems in power in '08. The political landscape is shifting...
