Re: "On stuffing ballot boxes, I don't believe much of anything reported in the newspapers, reporters will write anything that sells papers..."

No problem!

(You can watch the videos on YouTube for yourself of his supporters showing up with bags of pre-purchased tickets and then handing them out to the same few people to 'vote' over and over. <GGG>)

You see, in this 'straw poll', public election laws don't apply --- since it is only open to members of one Party, the political party sets whatever rules it wants. I guess the GOP was treating this 'straw poll' more like a fund raising exercise since the tickets that allowed one to vote were SOLD for twenty bucks a pop. SO: was not a violation of any law, as far as I know.)

Still... it does give you a better feel for the true measure of Romney's support, that he has to buy his 'votes', have his staff hand out free tickets (that ole money bags has already paid for :-) just to run-up a respectable percentage of the votes. <GGG>

Re: "Okay, you're right that Congress must be the one to declare... making believe there's no threat at all..."

Absolutely sure that Paul has never 'made believe that there is no threat at all'....

He's merely proposed different solutions to the on-going threat that we all see.
