As I explained in laborious detail, which I'll do once again in a more intelligible way for you, if a person is put in prison and their captor puts a bone and some old bread in the cell, you should not be surprised if the prisoner gnaws on the bone and complains about being kept prisoner. You should assume for this discussion that the prisoner is somebody just randomly collected from their home, not some criminal.
