...and you can even pass borders without problems using Gold. Can more than 10000 Euros worth of coins or bars pass through a Eurozone airport without a declaration? Buying gold seems like a solid step in the right direction, but there is no guarantee that dealers will have liquidity if things get rough. How does one buy gold coins or bars in Denmark? Does value added tax apply to purchases? Do the banks dominate the trade or are there independent dealers?
