Albert,

I think we are starting to see the same thing that happened to memory happen to CPU pricing. The pricing changes in the last 6 months are unheard of in the history of the industry.

Intel supporters could still make money in a commodity style market (due to Intel's huge manufacturing capabilities).

Cyrix and AMD supporters will also make some money here (although I will say this, I do hope AMD can get their process running correctly, or it will be disaster for all involved).

What does concern me, is if we get to a commodity stage what will happen to the pace of CPU enhancements/advancements?
