The sub prime and related messes happened under Greenspan's 18 year watch.Bernanke got stuck with having to find an appropriate answer. As for Goldman and their ill gotten gains, I agree. Life is not fair. To paraphrase Churchill, capitalism is the least onerous of the economic systems, and its main drawback is the vast imbalance and ever widening gulf between the haves and have nots.
