<Would someone please explain to me why Louis Navellier and Jim Oberweis, who publish a couple of the best performing newsletters in the US, would recommend IFCI if it is such a dog?>

I for one don't claim IFCI's a dog, just overpriced. Navalier and Oberweis use mechanical stock screens; they flag IFCI for the same reasons many other folks on this thread found it, very strong nominal EPS growth, great momentum. Their selected stocks perform well because they target momentum stocks and flog the hell out of 'em ... until they sell.

<Why would IFCI take their show on the road to New York and Boston if this company is a total sham?>

I didn't claim it's a sham. Why does anyone take a stock on the road?

<Why would Zacks rank IFCI #2 of 14 "Wire and Cable Product" companies if their future is so bleak?>

Zack's simply rates the stocks based on mechanical changes in the analyst ratings they receive and price momentum. They don't do any independent research.

<Why would the one analyst who's following IFCI risk his credibility by recommending this stock as a strong buy?>

The "analyst" is presumably Oberweis (or Navalier?), so you're back to Q1.

<Why would anyone want to sell this stock before this quarter's earnings are posted?>

Because it's overpriced and because a large number of shares become available for sale imminently?
