Are we disagreeing? ... damn if i see where ... this is one good way of putting it imho -

'The trend is my friend providing if conforms to my judgment.'

Judgment doesn't come out of a vacuum though, any more than a trend does ... everything influences everything else - if there was no trend to notice, would we have tuned into studying factors on which to exercise our judgment? ... for sure 'faith' is something that has no rational place in judgment, still as they say, the race goes not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but that's the way to bet

All past trends have turned [that's what makes them 'past'], seems reasonable to expect all current trends to turn at some point ... questions then become - when do they turn, and from what numerical points ... if near-term usd/cad trend turned a few weeks ago at .92ish [is that what you're saying?], then why couldn't longer-term trend turn six or seven months down the road at .85ish, making this november action a retrace on the way to there? ... remember currency moves do tend to overshoot - look at the weekly here, what is so special about .9198 and 09 november, why can't that just be an interim bottom? -
