Every democratic candidate is an honest truth-teller, right down the line. Some feel Hillary fudges the truth but that's just what moderates have to do not to get take right or left positions. She's trying to stake out the middle and that means not pissing off either extreme but trying to bridge them.

Compare to the GOP contenders. All outrageous obvious liars except for Huckabee and Paul.

McCain - lies about the Surge working and Vietnam being lost because of peace protesters. That's just flat wrong. Vietnam was lost by 1968 and any historian knows it. It was lost the same way Bush blew it in Iraq, by corruption, dishonesty, the wrong policies and basing it on realities which didn't exist.
Real war protests didn't start until several years later.

Guiliani - lies about his character and being heroic on 9-11.
He admits he's not perfect but doesn't admit he's immoral and screwed the first responders on 9-11.

Romney and Thompson both lie about being devoutly religious.
Just obvious pandering which is why Huckabee has taken over the lead. Huckabee is the only credible one on moral issues.
