People who claim God had a role in the creation of the universe or the origin and development of life are routinely called creationists by anti-Christians."

Wrong.......people who claim God is responsible for the special creation of humans are called creationists......

You are wrong. Intelligent design proponents explicitly do not believe in a "special creation" 6000 years ago, but they are always labeled creationists. Astronomer Guillermo Gonzalez was denied tenure at Iowa State because he co-authored a "creationist" book arguing for a version of tne anthropic principle - that the universe is designed for life. Creationist is also applied to people who interpret the big bang origin of the universe as an act of creation, yet the big bang says nothing about the special creation of humans.

Aren't you aware of recent revelations about Mother Teresa's confessed conflict with her faith over the last 40 years or so of her life?

You are again wrong. Mother Teresa didn't lose her faith. She kept it. She did suffer from the loss of a feeling of closeness to God that she experienced early in her life. During that time she actually experienced a vision of Christ. And hungering for that continued experience but not getting it is what was painful to her.

All the rest of names you cite are just that......you provide no evidence that they were creationists

I can guarantee you that all those people believe God created the universe and that we are not here by accident.

....I fear that you think any Christian is a creationist.

You want to have it both ways. You want to depict yourself as only opposing fundies who believe in a 6K year old universe and God forming a model of a man out of clay and zapping him to life. But then you put down people who simply believe God created the universe - "many people who can't conceive of any other reason ascribe the origin of the universe, even the big bang, to an exterior source."
