Mine too! <It has been my experience that when people have coherent ideas with some utility, eventually other people do look at them and start advancing the cause.> My experience over decades has been that I get an idea, try to tell somebody, including people in authority, they ignore me. Sometime between 10 and 20 years later, the ideas become "common-sense" and start to be adopted. But invariably, there have been huge costs incurred, both actual and opportunity. Not to mention a lot of dead people [which is part of "costs"].

It's easy to tell the difference between the good ideas and nutty ideas. All one needs to use are facts, scientific principles, and thinking [thinking using an actual brain, not just "I feel strongly that this is true" = having strong feelings is not a substitute for thinking].
When people ignore facts and scientific principles, abjure reason and pursue their own importance [and cash flow], ignoring people who are using facts, science and reason, you can be sure that they are up a gum tree and are most likely getting a kick-back [cash flow, girls, power, status]. Many are just plain ignorant, unable to understand scientific principles and lack a brain that can think and reason.
