Your post is the first post ever to be recommended twice by the same poster in SI history. Congratulations! I know where there are quartz lode gold veins near an existing shaft on the SE side of Mt. Brown in the Sweetgrass Hills. A company out of Minneapolis staked it 15 years ago but I bet those claims are long gone now. We found some narsarsukite there as well. I think the county court house is here but there was strange Masonic symbols on the door so we never entered. maps.google.ca
