Steve- I don't think a sale will happen, but if it does, it won't be for AOL stock. MSFT may not be desparate for cash -g-, but I'm sure they don't need a 15% stake in AOL either. As to analysts' and underwriters' motivations much has been said and we won't resolve it here. But I keep looking for rationality and logic in their actions and it's hard to find in the case of this and many other stocks.
