He has as much qualification as Bush did in 2000.....back in those days we were told six years as a Governor, owning a baseball team and working in the energy industry was ample pedigree for the top office.
Obama has the respect of many republicans....they may disagree with him, but they do respect him. Here is the Peggy Noonan quote:
