"But this sort of mentality is everywhere"

I REALLY don't think so Ten. I went to college in the sixties, and I had ONE friend from high school who went communist. He even went to Cuba and cut sugar cane for a summer - after that, he gave up communism.

I think what you miss is that, as Americans, we vote, and we get to criticize our leaders. They are the ONLY world leaders we really have any role in picking or keeping. We OWN them, and we're RESPONSIBLE for what they do.

I haven't noticed ANYONE saying that Achmajinadad, Kim Jong Il or Hugo Chavez is better than Bush. I think Hitler was a more accomplished individual than Bush, author, orator, leader, but he was also a monster, which Bush is not. Bush is just a very sad failure, for the Republican Party and for our country. Most Republicans join me now in counting the days until he's gone, hoping whoever is next is better.
