The government should not have the power to determine my end of life by denying me coverage.

You seem to be buying into the iffy notion that lack of insurance is the same as lack of access. It's not. All they would be denying you is money, not access. You can potentially still get treatment. Only if they disallow billing and payment transactions, are they determining your end of life.

The flip side is that that the government currently influences your end of life by making assisted suicide illegal. It effectively makes the determination if you are too disabled to end your life yourself. IMO, too few people are troubled by that interference.
