You said ready to sell now?
No, I am a glutton for punishment and I never took much notice of the
other advice in the book either. I agree with everything you
said about Quidel.
As for the upcoming earnings. I have a feeling they are going to be good. I get the impression that the last quarter was a kind of clean up the house quarter. They had litigation costs, facility re-modeling costs and I note in the 10Q that they had approx $100,000 in scrap costs. They actually stated that those costs would not be repeated. Companies usually try to hide their scrap and lump it into a quarter that was going to be bad anyway. That way they can show increasingly good quarters in the future. With some production occurring in Mexico and numerous openings in Manufacturing, it all
points to a company about to take off. Robert Busse reported earlier
about a road show on the east coast. Unless there was some ulterior reason for the road show, they would not have presented themselves to
the institutions if they were going to dish up disappointments in the
future.
