I am thinking the persians can be dealt with and that ahmadijad is the trotsky in the equation being used by the pragmatists to peacefully coexist with us. As for sunnis, thats where i think the real threat is coming from. Thats a pure movement and has no state to consider. Saudis fuel it knowingly or not and power base now is in tribal areas of pakistan. With al quaeda now out of iraq with their tails between their legs, its time to take them out once and for all. Shiass at worse need to be treated with containment and deterrence as in cold war and at best with detente and student exchanges also as in cold war.
