One isolated region hasn't been used to find trends. Greenland, Arctic, tropics, high mountain ranges, northern tundra, ocean temperatures are all included in discussions.

You mean cold fusion or do you mean bioengineering or intelligent design? AGW is not considered an unproven theory, except by the ignoranti.
