Your point is well-taken. However, guys like Metz have been wrong for a long long time. You can bet your bottom dollar that when the market finally dumps, these guys will be right there saying "I told you so..." If, though, the market does dump, does that make them geniuses? Absolutely not. Had you taken their advice, you would have missed out on the greatest bull market of all time. So what if they finally correctly called a bear market--they've been bearish since Dow 5000. If you cry "bear" long enough, you'll be correct somewhere down the line--think of it this way--even a broken clock is correct twice a day.
