Interesting article about China markets. Don't want to veer too far off topic here but pyramid schemes have been around in all markets and for centuries and what is happening in China is nothing new.

It's not shorting that is the issue, it's the archaic, secretive and industry protective rules with respect to shorting and the rules that are not followed that provides for the abuses discussed on this board.
