I don't like Thompson. He's to extreme.

I like Richardson mostly because of his stance on energy independence, but I don't like his views on immigration. My favorite right now is Huckabee. He lines up with my values and goals almost 99%. I like his moral values, abortion stance, tax restructuring ideas, and goals for energy independence. I'd like to vote for Huckabee in the primaries and if he gets the nomination, I'd vote for him over every Democrat candidate on the books today.

However, if Huckabee doesn't get the nomination, then there are several Democrats that I'd vote for over Romney or Guliani. The rest of the Republicans just don't rate energy independence high enough on their issues lists and they don't have credible plans for getting there. Huckabee equates energy independence with a moral imperative. That's the level of commitment I'm looking for.
