As strange as all this may seem, I'm getting really tempted to leap in on this one. The Bill Nordstrom article you posted does a good job of summing up the corporate history and shows that this firm has withstood some tough times. The fact that management holds signifanct shares is also encouraging.

As I mentioned on another thread -- people will pay signifianct $$ in the name of vanity. That being the case, it might as well be you and me who get those $$$. I may just dump some of my mutual funds and take a little fly on this one. It sounds wierd, I know, but I missed out on Alfin a decade ago and have to make up for it. (HaHa).
