Encription is needed for secure transactions (some would say semi secure, but when u think about it, when someone swipes your credit card and it transmits, it gets transmitted over an unsecure phone line). SSL stands 4 Secure Socket Layer i Believe. Bottom line, ask Prodidgy customer support if their software has options to support SSL security & encryption, and if so, what configuration settings need to you need to change & how.
