Bigotry is always tiresome, terribly discomforting, and of course it would be nice if it just went away. That's ruff's point. Let it go, ignore it, cowtow too it as if it wasn't there. However, if you stand up and call it what it is everyone, especially decent folk, will ask you to leave.

I know you don't want to think about minor players in your midst michael, but they are here. You can never hope to clean the house of another land when they are being fed by those in your own. An extremist in your own house is usually labeled an abuser. An extremist within your community usually is known as a trouble-maker, or as a criminal. An extremist within your own political sphere or an opposing one is a corrupter of the principles on which you stand. The same people in another land are labeled 'the enemy.'

They abandon reason for fear and falsely label it loyalty to dogmatic religion or a group. They are false because they are corrupt liars. They represent the sickest of sicknesses on this Earth.

When you declare your enemies to be those who harbor extremists and you cover for them in your own camp, you are a corrupt and hypocritical cause of the problem, as much as the corrupt officials of Sudan.

Stand up and call extremism what it is when you see it.
I'm not going anywhere, sorry.
