This morning I get posts from ruff telling me what I am, what I support, and what I believe,... simultaneosly I get a call from an Arab woman telling me about my culture and what we are like.
The Arab woman is watching some Springeresque type show where American women are described as 'Cougars' preying on men and where American men are effeminised perves who can't keep their hands off of little boys, dogs, and the viagra bottle.
Ruff is telling me how heinous brutality some place in the world is all about me.
I pointed out to the Arab woman that the show gets an audience, not because it describes American culture, that would be as boring as washing dishes. It gets an audience, because it highlights people on the fringe of American culture who have extreme life styles. Of course, I get no where with that because she knows how much of a True Blue American I am... so that show is definitely all about me (in her demented mind). When I mention Ruff's attacks she takes on a whole different demeaner and becomes the light of reason wrt the difference between heinous and brutal extremists and everyday decent Muslims... but goes right back to her rants about how assaults, rapes, murders and such in America are off the scale in comparison to her culture, and of course that is all about me too. I have received notice from Muslims more than once that I deserve death for some of my comments and positions on culture and people...I hear its supposed to snow tomorrow.
Same conversation I have with ruff everyday on this thread, only from his perspective its those other people who dress funny.
What've you got that's better'n that?
You claim not to understand my presentations. You have to be able to see the difference between heinous extremism and principles of decency as a human condition. This condition exists in all human subpopulations accross time and circumstance and is an issue separate from the way people salute, bow, or dress.
Until you get that, nothing I post will make much sense to you.
