michael Iraq 2001 Libya North Korea India Pakistan what do all these countries have in common? Ans: the CIA completely missed a well advanced nuclear weapons program until it was revealed - by invasion and the government, in the first two cases, or by a nuclear bomb test in the last three. Excuse me if I don't put so much faith in the CIA's assurances. Even they say they have only "moderate confidence" whatever that means that Iran's nuke weapons program is still in mothballs. I will prefer to listen to the Israelis. They have more at stake. They think the 2003 halt was temporary.
