I just went to Staples and WalMart to buy an elcheapo desktop for my wife. AMD was MIA for instock desktops. I hauled home my first Intel box in many years. To show its firm commitment to AMD, Dell is offering the AMD Inspiron 531 desktop only with Vista, whereas the Intel Inspiron 530 desktop is offered with both XP and Vista.
