I am a Vietnam combat veteran, a conservative American, and have a keen interest in national affairs.

I am married, have three married adult children and seven grandchildren.

I bought into the notion of Fox News - accurate, fair and balanced. What a mistake.

When the call for Katrina volunteers went out on Fox News, my wife and I spent our 4 week vacation in Louisiana and Mississippi working everyday for the Red Cross, and/or the Salvation Army and a Church Group. We were in the mess, on the ground, working with the people. Every night, in our camper, we loyally watched FOX News. We were appalled by the coverage of Shepard Smith. We (and others) thought he was the most uninformed idiot in New Orleans. As soon as I could, I emailed you then that he was emotional and not reporting the truth.

Still, we hung in there and have continued to watch Fox News, O'Reilly, Hannity & Colmes, and other FOX shows, and I have encouraged my children and grandchildren to tune you in. That just came to a screeching halt.

Shepard Smith's program introduction tonight was beyond the pale. It was pure sexist trash. It was insulting to my wife, my 2 daughters, my daughter-in-law, and my 4 granddaughters. And it pissed me off. Smith was talking about promoting sex on the Internet while displaying a full-screen close-up of a pair of large woman's breasts. I am embarrassed that I encouraged my family to watch this crap.

Why the classless and demeaning big titty show at 7 PM and during the family hour?
Does Fox now accept these screen shots as your idea of news?
Is FOX News going to have a more expansive porno site soon? Will you promote it like you do Fox News and Smith? Who will be the models? Will it be televised during the family hour too?

Why did you allow Smith to not be fair and balanced and avoid showing a close-up of a big penis?
Maybe he could not find one on your news staff. Alternatively, could he not have turned the camera on someone at FOX news very small testicles. I bet they are in abundant supply.

Do you have a limit???

Who the heck is in charge there???

Don't bother to answer, I really do not want to know. Tonight's news was sufficient for me.

You just lost this extended family. If FOX NEWS ever cleans up their act, email me back and I'll check you out again. We will never watch Smith again. Meanwhile, except for O'Reilly and Hannity & Colmes, you will find our TVs tuned elsewhere.
